A Star is Born
Last Night was the School/Town Christmas Play. Riley was the only kid in the k-2nd class who had a speaking part. Based on her stunning performance during the Thanksgiving presentation she was given this coveted role. Her performance as "Little Sister" was inspiring.
Santa, Santa, He's our man...
Maycie avoids Santa like the plague, so no pics of her.

Coulter was also awesome in the choir and both kids were elves as well. Since then we have decided to quite DPS and move to L.A where our kids will become child stars and make us tons of money. Cody will become a stage Mom (he is excellent at shouting and being bossy), and I will do hair and make up (look at those curls in my "Little Sister inspired hair-do, I am master of the curling iron.)
I failed to get any pics of Riley on stage, I got a new video camera and I was too busy testing her out.

A Semi-White Christmas
If you travel West on I-40, just before you reach Kingman there is a small stretch where the road gets a little steeper and the elevation goes up. This is where our family found our White Christmas. As we travled to a Christmas party we were shocked when the rain started turning into hail, then slush, then big fat flakes.
We crossed our fingers, but we were only greeted with rain at our house. We can still see our snow in the mountains out our living room window and thats good enough for us.

Not so silent night.
Riley looked fab in her Amish blanket/sparkly blue belt combo.
We also cant forget Riley's beloved doll Patsy who won the role of Baby Jesus. She didnt make a peep during the whole presentation, thats because we bribed her with some new doll clothes.

All She wants for Christmas...
All right people, Riley lost her front teeth in APRIL and there is still no sign of them. Is this normal? I am hoping we can get this girl her teeth, but it is giong to take all of us working together. Search everywhere. Look under your pillows, check your children's mouths for extra teeth. Track down that dang tooth fairy. Caramel appple day was no fun at our house. I am going to repost our missing teeth flier so that we may plaster them around the country. PLEASE COME HOME MISSING TEETH!!
Missing: Riley's Two Front Teeth
Date Last Seen: April of 2008
Color: Pearly White
Riley lost her front teeth months ago and the new ones have not shown up, we are beginning to think they may have run away. If you see them please send them our way. Riley misses eating corn on the cob and apples. I was hoping they would show up for picture day at school, but no luck. Teeth, if you are out there please come home, Riley promises to brush you twice a day and floss too. P.S..... If the teeth are big and dorky looking, dont mention this message, we would rather go without.
