Scary Primary Program

It is that time of year, Primary Program time. Hair was curled, parts were practiced, we were ready. The kids find their seats in the podium, Riley in the middle, Coulter right up front.
(Coulter looking tired).
Songs were sung. (Coulter looking flushed).
Riley gave her part while looking adorable. (Coulter looking pale).
Then during a rather loud and off-key rendition of "Called to Serve", Coulter's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he starts to pass out. Cody rushed up to the stage and whisked him to the foyer.
Coulter was mad that Cody made him leave, he doesn't remember feeling sick, he also couldn't remember half of the program. He went up and finshed the program with us watching nervously, ready to snatch him. At home he recovered with the help of a cheese crisp and some Spongebob. Thank you for giving me a heart attack Coco.

A Life of Crime

We sold our old Minivan yesterday and I have a feeling it is headed for a life of crime. Here are my reasons:
1. The buyers were from South of the border (if you know what I mean)
2. They urgently needed a van that day to take to Mexico.
3. They said they were going to use it for "exports" from Mexico, I sure hope these "exports" aren't people or drugs.
4.The Biggie...they paid us in FIVE DOLLAR BILLS....thats right they gave us 330 five dollar bills. Who has that many fives? Very mysterious.
They also wanted to keep our license plate, but we aren't stupid.
Goodbye Minivan, we will miss you, you were a great car. Except when you broke down on me twice when Cody was in Iraq...you let me down man. Then when Cody used you last summer to haul 30 bags of manure..you really stunk, but you were a trooper (pooper trooper...funny). Now instead of being in the driveway next to a police car, you will be running from them. I am sure I will see you again...on America's Most Wanted.

Pulled over by the PoPo and a Fishy situation

On my morning trek to the kids' school today I was pulled over by the Highway Patrol, It was my husband wanting to say goodbye to the kids. Many neighboors and parents stared as they passed... it was embarassing......Thanks Hon. Todays lunch menu:
Beans Burrito
Max Pizza
Fish Treasures
When asked what she had for lunch today Riley replies,"Gross chicken nuggets that tasted like fish." Parents get a good laugh.

Cheeser

We had our family pics taken so we were having Maycie practice her smile. This is what we got every time, a super cheesy, one eye closed, head to the side kind of thing.

Then finally a nice smile and look at Riley. What a spaz.

Lesson Learned

This is what happens when your kids play ball in the house. And this is what happens to the kids after they play ball in the house. They put their noses on the wall because in regular time out they just play or sneak away.
After I took this picture Riley shouted, "You better not put that on the internet." Ha Ha.
Maycie likes to go to time out when the kids do. I'm sure when she is old enough to really be in time out she wont think it is so fun.

Paging Doctor Cody?....

Now thats a scary thought. Cody just finished phlebotomy school for the department. That means he will be able to draw blood from people who have been arrested to test for alcohol or other drugs. So if you did not have a good enough reason to not drink and drive before, just think of Cody coming at you with a syringe, that should keep you straight.

Labor Day weekend

This Labor Day weekend we went on a last minute road trip to Safford for a baptism. Safford AZ is were we lived when we first came to Arizona. It is where President Kimball is from. We actually were in the Kimball stake, President Kimball was once the Stake President. The kids had fun in the hotel swimming pool and feeding the ducks at the park. The weather was so nice, a welcome change from the heat. Love that smile
Maycie's thong swimsuit made another appearance
The hot tub was crazy bubbly

Shake that Thing...

Everyday Maycie Goes into Riley's room, turns on the Hello Kitty CD player, and rocks out to Hannah Montana.....EVERY Day. Note the amazing stunts she perfoms at the end. And that is Coulter singing in the background.

P.S. Riley's room is currently being packed up for the move, that is why there are no bed frames or decorations.
