Halloweeners

We recently went to a Halloween Party, so I give you this year's costumes:Coulter as "Knight in Shining Armour" for the third year in a row, at least this year he agreed to a new costume.
Maycie as "Scary Witch", she was very annoyed when people kept saying she was a cute witch, she wants to be a mean scary witch.

And Riley as Dorothy.

Stick it

Congratulations to Maycie who brought home a Third Place Trophy at this year's Cartwheel-A-Thon at gymnastics. She did a total of 70 somersaults in 5 minutes to take the prize in her age group. 1st and 2nd tied at 72, she did an amazing job.
Riley and Coulter also did awesome, Riley with 126 cartwheels and Coulter with 116 in five mintutes, they both just missed a prize by a couple of cartwheels, they were so excited for Maycie though.

Welcome Back Hagatha!!

Hagatha and Maycie taking it easy
This is Hagatha. When Riley was a baby we stole her from Grandma, seatbelted her in our car (shotgun, by the way) and brought her to Arizona. When Riley was two, she loved Hagatha, she pretended they were sisters. Now that Maycie is two she is equally thrilled to have another sister. They like to hold hands while they watch T.V.. Hagatha is Maycie's go to girl. She always has one of Maycie's babies in her lap. Maycie is just far to busy to look after all her babies and Hagatha is an excellent babysitter I guess.
This is how I find her almost every day.
We welcome you back, our favorite witch, you are part of the family, except for the part where we shove you in a box and keep you in the shed for 11 months. Altough that does sound tempting for certain family members at certain times.

Solo

I am either really stupid or really awesome because I took the kids to Utah on a trip BY MYSELF. We like going to Utah because they have all sorts of fancy things that we just dont have here in Wikieup. Things like working radio stations, stores, leaves that change color, civilization, people we like, friends from high school, and football games...all of which we enjoyed.
We went to Thanksgiving point to check out the animals. While bending down to pick something up, Riley was a litlte too close to the calf and it stuck out its HUGE tongue and licked the entire side of her face.

Then right after this picture the pony ate part of Riley's shirt. She is currently putting her dreams of farming on hold.

The ride home was long, but uneventful...I only had to threaten to cancel Christmas twice, I think that we will chalk it up as a success.
